About California Farm to Fork

The California Office of Farm to Fork, located within the California Department of Food and Agriculture, is committed to helping all Californians access healthy and nutritious California-grown food. The California Office of Farm to Fork connects individual consumers, school districts, and others directly with California's farmers and ranchers, and provides information and other resources.

The initial stage of this website was funded by a USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant to highlight programs and projects that focus on increasing the use, marketing, and sourcing of specialty crops, e.g., vegetables, fruits, and nuts. As the website evolves it will include additional information and resources about specialty crops and other healthy California agricultural products, e.g., whole grains, lean meats and dairy, etc.
